Shoulder Pain

Trigger points refer pain to the shoulder that frequently mimic the symptoms associated with such diagnoses as rotator cuff muscle tears, bursitis, adhesive capsulitis (“frozen shoulder”), tendonitis and impingement syndrome.

Examples of these muscles are the infraspinatus, supraspinatus, scalene, and subscapularis.
